DESCRIPTION:Description\nThis is an annual tour of the Tewksbury area outlining where the original “Wamesit” native American tribe was located. It is a guided tour with narration about the Wamesit history at each planned stop along the route. \nDownload the Fall 2018 newsletter\, containing the event flyer (1.0mb pdf) \n  \nAgenda\nBus Tour leaves from the Tewksbury library at 1:00pm. \n12:00pm – Optional > Wamesit Lanes for lunch \n(Not included in price of the tour.) \n—— Sign-in for Tour———  \n1:00pm > Bus to West School  \n1:35pm > Fort Hill Park \nHiking to the top (optional)  \n2:00pm > Heart of Wamesit > Concord River “falls” into the Merrimack River  \n2:30pm – Hunt’s Falls\, Merrimack River  \n3:00pm – Drive north side of Merrimack River  \n3:15pm – Drive to River Road\, Hood Road to \nCatamount Drive  \n4:00pm – End at Tewksbury Library. \n  \nCost\nMinimum of 15 needed for bus.
